AMA 549.5 Evaluation of Amateur-Built Aircraft Kits to Determine Compliance with the Major Portion Requirement

This advisory provides an acceptable method for the evaluation of amateur-built aircraft kits to determine compliance with the requirement of Chapter 549 that the major portion of an amateur-built aircraft be fabricated from raw material and assembled by an individual or group of individuals on a non-commercial, non-production basis.
