1.  Airworthiness Manual Chapter 549
Regulatory information essential to your project. It is available from the Department of Transport web site at www.tc.gc.ca. Go to the section on CARS and follow the links.

2. AC 4313 (AS AMENDED)
This is an Aeronautical Circular published by the FAA. It is an invaluable reference, explaining the proper methods and techniques of construction. It can be ordered from your local aviation supply house, or the larger book stores.  Some community colleges which have aviation departments may also carry it.  This publication is amended from time to time, so check the FAA web site to make sure you are up to date.

3. RAA BUILDER’S MANUAL

Available from the RAA.  800-387-1028 or www.raa.ca

4. BOOKS BY TONY BINGELIS

Mr. Bingelis has written a series of highly informative books which can be ordered from the EAA at 800-843-3612.  The series covers construction methods, information on aero engines, and construction techniques.

5.  TP 14089 AIRCRAFT JOURNEY LOG (ENGLISH-FRENCH) - PRINTED PUBLICATION

The Transport Canada Journey Log is an acceptable means of complying with the requirements of CAR 605.94. The pilot-in-command of an aircraft can record in this journey log the required particulars in respect of each flight. All maintenance/modification/repairs, performed are regulated by the continuing airworthiness maintenance program and can be written in the journey log of an amateur-built aircraft.
